# TriPeak > Triathlon coaching software for coaches and self-coached athletes. Structured > swim, bike and run sessions scored in TSS, a fitness/fatigue/form chart, > automatic sync from Garmin and Wahoo, race pacing, and an MCP server so Claude > or ChatGPT can read and write the real training plan. TriPeak is a web application at https://tripeak.app. It is used by triathlon coaches planning for a roster of athletes, and by self-coached athletes who want the same tooling with an AI assistant doing the drafting. ## What it does - **Planning**: structured workouts in an interval notation, per sport, with planned TSS. Season phases and weekly load envelopes are derived from the athlete's goal races and current fitness. - **Training load**: CTL (fitness), ATL (fatigue) and TSB (form) as exponentially weighted moving averages, the standard performance management chart. TSS is estimated from power against FTP, pace against threshold pace or CSS, or heart rate against LTHR — best evidence first. - **Actuals**: Garmin Connect and Wahoo sync every night. Any watch also works by uploading a .fit, .tcx or .gpx file, which needs no account anywhere. - **Execution grading**: the intervals prescribed against the power delivered, with a score, a letter grade and the fade and heart-rate drift across reps. - **Threshold audit**: evidence from completed sessions that an athlete's FTP, LTHR, CSS or threshold pace is out of date. It suggests; the coach applies. - **Race autopilot**: projected form on race morning against the +10…+20 TSB window, per-leg pacing targets, a physics-based bike split, and a fueling plan. - **Terrain-matched bike courses**: a structured ride laid onto a real road, so the intervals fall on climbs and the recoveries on the way back down. Out as a GPX file or straight onto a Garmin head unit, with a line of coaching at the start of each block. - **Training philosophies**: six intensity distributions — polarised, pyramidal, threshold, sweet spot, aerobic base, reverse periodisation — chosen per athlete, each with the research cited and each with a plain statement of who it does not suit. - **Athlete portal**: the coach sends one link; the athlete signs in once and the plan binds to their account, showing today's session, what is coming, and what they have built. The link is a way in, not a password — after it is claimed it opens for that athlete and their coach and nobody else. ## AI and MCP TriPeak exposes a Model Context Protocol server. A coach connects Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, VS Code or Cursor with a personal URL and the assistant can list athletes, read a plan, write sessions as drafts the coach accepts or discards, grade a session, and add goal races. The application itself never calls a language model — the intelligence is brought by the assistant the coach already uses, working on real numbers rather than guesses. ## Pricing 30-day free trial, no credit card. Monthly, cancel any time. Prices in Swiss francs. Every plan includes every feature; they differ only in how many athletes they cover. - **Self-coached** — 10 CHF/month, one athlete, coaching yourself with ai - **Coach 5** — 30 CHF/month, up to 5 athletes - **Coach 10** — 50 CHF/month, up to 10 athletes - **Unlimited** — 80 CHF/month, clubs, squads and full-time coaches ## What it is not - Not a training-plan marketplace and not a coach directory. - Not a social network: there is no feed, no kudos and no public leaderboard. - Not medical or physiotherapy software, and it gives no medical advice. - It does not connect to Strava. Strava's API terms do not permit showing an athlete's data to their coach, so that integration is deliberately absent. ## Links - [Home](https://tripeak.app/): what it is, how it works - [For coaches](https://tripeak.app/coaches): the roster, the rules, drafts and grading across every athlete - [Pricing](https://tripeak.app/pricing): plans, what is included - [FAQ](https://tripeak.app/faq): trial, devices, AI connection, data ownership - [Connect an assistant](https://tripeak.app/connect): MCP setup, and every tool a coach or athlete connection exposes - [Training philosophies](https://tripeak.app/philosophies): six intensity distributions compared, with the research behind each - [Upload API](https://tripeak.app/developers/upload-api): POST a FIT file from any app with the athlete's upload token - [How TriPeak is different](https://tripeak.app/how-tripeak-is-different): the choices — MCP instead of a built-in chatbot, no Strava, no marketplace - [Training Stress Score explained](https://tripeak.app/guide/training-stress-score): what TSS is, the formula per sport, and where it stops being trustworthy - [Fitness, fatigue and form](https://tripeak.app/guide/fitness-fatigue-form): CTL, ATL and TSB, the 42 and 7 day constants, and how the chart misleads - [Polarised training](https://tripeak.app/philosophies/polarised): Most of it easy, some of it very hard, almost none in between. - [Pyramidal training](https://tripeak.app/philosophies/pyramidal): A wide easy base, a decent slab of tempo, a little at the top. - [Controlled threshold training](https://tripeak.app/philosophies/threshold): A lot of work at the edge, held deliberately below the cliff. - [Sweet spot training](https://tripeak.app/philosophies/sweetspot): For the six-hour week: the most fitness per hour available. - [Aerobic base training](https://tripeak.app/philosophies/aerobic-base): Build the engine first.
